The Maira
trail
Explore moreThe Maira trail is a route that connects Villar San Costanzo, in the lower Maira Valley, with the city of Racconigi. It is 52 kilometers of path almost entirely on dirt that runs alongside the stream whose name it bears, crossing 9 municipalities.
Starting in 1994, thanks to the Compagnia del Buon Cammino, the opportunity was taken to exploit the buffer areas on the side of the Maira to create a path that would allow you to experience nature in a plain area where there are few green areas free from crops, much less spontaneous woods.
